Devotion of the Rosary

Pope Leo XIII spoke strongly of the rosary as a defense for the Church and indeed all people:

The Mysteries of Light (or the Luminous Mysteries)
have been added to the Rosary by the Pope John Paul II, to be prayed on Thursdays. They focus on the public ministry of Jesus Christ:

1. The Baptism in the Jordan
2. The Wedding at Cana
3. The Proclamation of the Kingdom
4. The Transfiguration
5. The Institution of the Eucharist
