Catholics in the Public Square is pleased to be a Sponsor for the Children’s Internet Safety Campaign (CISC), an important public service of the FreedomISP Foundation.

Report Internet Abuse Against Children

The FreedomISP Foundation has set up a unique partnership with Michigan Attorney General Michael Cox and his office to facilitate reporting incidents of Internet Child Abuse. Attorney General Cox has dedicated his office to complete investigation of all reported incidents, and has made it a priority to restructure the reporting tools used to speed the delivery of incident reports to the right people, right away.

The FreedomISP Foundation

The FreedomISP Foundation is a child advocacy organization dedicated to help make the Internet safe for children. The Foundation's public service “Children's Internet Safety Campaign” initiates and carries out programs to educate parents and guardians about the pervasiveness of Internet pornography, which serves as a timely wake-up call against the sexual exploitation of minors on the World Wide Web.

The campaign addresses the vital need for safe online access so children can safely enjoy and benefit from the remarkable communication technology at their fingertips.

Because children are often more well-versed in using this technology than their parents, informed parents, grandparents, guardians and other family members are the best protection for the safety and well-being of children who regularly go online. There is a growing need to protect children from unsuitable material and the criminal intrusion of cyber predators. Endorsed by the nation's top law enforcement officials, as well as government, educational, religious and community leaders, the Foundation's campaign to protect the innocence of children grows day by day.

The FreedomISP Foundation's vision is of an Internet with the ability to inspire the minds, hearts, and souls of our young people, untainted by the influence of pornography and other illicit material currently storing its open portals. They seek a day when every child, untroubled by such distractions, utilizes the power of the Internet to broaden their education and cultural horizons, explore its wonders, and use it as an aid to understanding, empowerment, and self discovery.
